Inbox for Sellers is operated by Kevin Loomis, who is the data controller for the information described here. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written plainly rather than as boilerplate. If something here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and the workspace you belong to.
  • Seller data you connect: buyer conversations, orders, listings, and related details retrieved from your connected marketplace account.
  • Content you create: internal notes, saved replies, knowledge base entries, and replies you send.
  • Operational data: logs and diagnostic records needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

We use your data to operate the product: to show conversations to your team, to attach the relevant order and listing context, to generate reply drafts you review, and to support and secure your account.

AI drafting sends the relevant conversation and context to a model provider to produce a draft. A person on your team reviews and sends every reply.

Marketplace connections

When you connect an eBay seller account, we store the access credentials needed to keep your workspace in sync and retrieve the data described above. You can disconnect the account from your settings at any time, which stops further syncing.

We are an independent software product and are not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay Inc.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers required to run the product — for example hosting, database, and AI model providers — and only to the extent needed to deliver the service, or where the law requires it.

Paddle.com is our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles subscription sign-up, payments, invoicing, tax compliance and refunds, and receives the account and billing details needed to do that. Payment card details are collected and held by Paddle, not by us.

Retention and deletion

We keep your workspace data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your workspace and its data by emailing us, and we will remove it from active systems.

Security

Access to workspace data is restricted to the members of that workspace, credentials for connected marketplace accounts are stored encrypted, and access to production systems is limited. We describe the measures we take rather than making broad guarantees no software company can honestly give.

Your choices

  • Disconnect a connected marketplace account at any time.
  • Request a copy or deletion of your workspace data by email.
  • Remove team members from your workspace to revoke their access.
